Production[]
The season contains a total of 27 episodes directed by Allison Craig. The first 18 episodes were released on YouTube in the form of batches, each scheduled to match a full moon. The first batch was released on January 28, 2017 and was named according the first episode, "A Moonflower is Born". The second batch is "This is NOT a Drill[1]" and aired on March 28, 2018. Lastly, the third set of episodes,"My Moon to Protect"[2], followed immediately afterwards with a weekly release from March 30, 2018 up until the season finale on April 3, 2018.
Title cards for the episodes were made but wound up not being used for the YouTube uploads.[3]
The official uploads of the episodes were deleted from YouTube late 2018 when the show started airing on cable networks such as Discovery Family and other channels around the world.
